Tropical climate, Highland and mountains soil and heavy rain seasons turn Kenya to an ideal land of agricultural growing.
Main growing are : Tea , Coffee, Mango and Pineapple , Avocado, nuts and a large variety of vegetable and herbs. Kenya is also the global source of Miraa- the stimulating plant becoming popular worldwide.
Agriculture is then the main focus of the chambers business activities as well . The Export of Fruit, Vegetable and herbs from Kenya to Israel is still low comparing to the export from Kenya to Europe .
The import from Israel to Kenya is an opportunity as well . Oranges and the Citrus family variety grow for thousands of years near the shores of the Mediterranean and dates closer to the Jordan valley and river. Israel has a reputation of agricultural technology and suggests a large variety of Vegetables and herbs as well .
